Newdawn Foundation is a non-profit association that gives free quality Housing Advice and Options to those who are homeless in London and the surrounding areas. As a registered charity, we give free guidance and direction to persons who might somehow be not able to get such expert counsel.
We give practical assistance to homeless persons and those in housing need. Our aim is to help customers to secure long term accommodation and prevent repeat homelessness that is usually the case without further intervention.
At Newdawn Foundation, we understand that home has a biological, psychological, economic and social functions. It has a significant role to play in the stability of our society, without which there is a range of problems that affect a person well-being, which include individual health and hygiene, personal safety and mental health. We acknowledge that homelessnesss has with it many other social problems such as lack of jobs, lack of money, lack of social support and lack of mental wellness.
We aim to prevent homelessness and its terrible consequences in our society. Research has found that homlessness undermines children’s self-confidence and perceptions of the physical, academic, and socio-emotional well-being. They also exhibit behavioural problems such as aggression, destructiveness, disobedience, and temper outbursts. We recognise that homelessness has a debilitating effect on families and ultimately the society.
Due to the above, Newdawn Foundation offers assistance to anyone in urgent need of housing advice and options. Our housing advice is free and confidential. We regularly solicit for our clients and negotiate on their behalf as necessary. We always support homeless people; the potential homeless and vulnerable people whose homelessness application have not been assessed adequately by local authorities. We are here to help fight against repossesion; unlawful eviction and often challenge local authority homeleness decisions when the decision is deemed not to be right.
Newdawn Foundation acknowledges that Homeless individuals need educated and arranged choices about options available to them and we are promptly prepared to give such counsel.
